Gibbs Farm is an expansive, open-air sculpture park located in the beautiful Kaipara Harbour. It is home to a series of major-site specific artworks commissioned from some of the world’s most significant artists including, Andy Goldsworthy, Anish Kapoor and Richard Serra.
Join us on Thursday 27th October 2022 and enjoy a stroll through the fields of giant sculptures including exotic animals!
Where to go: Kaipara Harbour at 2421 Kaipara Coast Highway, Makarau, Auckland
What to bring:
- Appropriate footwear: The 3-4 hour walk is across grassy undulating terrain - which you can choose to do as much or little as you like
- Camera – you may take photos
- Sunscreen/Hat
- Water bottle
- Raincoat – the event will go ahead rain or shine!
What you need to know:
- Toilets are available on site
- There will be no gate sales so make sure you get in quick
- Entrance is via Barr Road to minimise traffic congestion etc. (more details to follow)
- You must bring your email booking confirmation and show this upon entry
- Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be re –sold. We suggest if you are unable to make it that, you pass them onto family or friends yourselves.

- Please note that Gibbs Farm is a private property. It is only open monthly by prior appointment only to artists, educational institutions, charities and the public. No entry fee is applicable when visiting Gibbs Farm by appointment; the Trustees of Gibbs Farm have generously allowed us to arrange fundraising event where all proceeds will go to Tōtara Hospice to support those living with a terminal illness in the south and southeast Auckland community.
