Café Aroha has great coffee and offers a range of simple, yet delicious food and beverages; all served with love and supported by our volunteers. Many items on our menu are made by staff in our on-site Hospice Kitchen.

As Café Aroha is located within Tōtara House, it simultaneously provides a friendly environment for patients and families, whilst actively welcoming in our neighbours and the general public. In doing so our patrons, whilst enjoying our menu, are also actively helping to sustain our Hospice into the future, as all proceeds from the Café support our work to continue.
All Café Aroha volunteers have been food and barista trained to ensure consistent quality of goods and services. Free Wi-Fi and indoor or outdoor seating are available. Dogs are welcome in the outside dining area when on their leads; the perfect stop off after a walk around the Auckland Botanic Gardens.

Group Booking Space
Café Aroha also has a private room available for booking for larger groups, ideal for sizes 8 – 20 guests. Relax in your own space for lunch or coffee with your friends and colleagues, ideal to host a team meeting with your staff, or a social gathering with friends contact us to check your preferred date.
Catering/pre-orders are preferred upon advanced requests and invoices can be issued for corporate groups.

Conference Room Hire Catering
Café Aroha also offers a fabulous range of catering options when you book the Conference Centre for hire. A convenient and professional conference venue for hire with all the facilities and equipment required to host a successful meeting.
