Hospice South Auckland provides care for local people with cancer or other life limiting illnesses. We believe that every person has the right to be treated with hope and dignity throughout their illness and to live every moment.

Nobody is charged for the care and support they receive at HSA.  Our team of staff and volunteers aim to achieve the best possible quality of life for the patient, their family/whanau, friends and carers whether it is through the Inpatient unit, Day support unit, supported at home by the Hospice Palliative Care Nursing team, Outpatient clinic or support services.

The District Health Board partially funds our service; however this year we must raise $2.68 million dollars to cover operational and capital costs. Your participation and sponsorship really does matter.  All funds raised by this event will be used towards these annual costs.  Ladies, you are helping to keep our doors open!

There is no minimum sponsorship required, but every $100 raised will fund the cost of a community palliative care nursing visit. If you raise $500 you will fund the staffing costs for the In-Patient Unit for a day!  

When you register we will send you a joining pack which will contain sponsorship forms to get you started immediately as well as information on how to collect sponsorship online.
