PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

By registering for the Sunrise Walk for Hospice, entrants agree to the following rules and conditions: 

1. The 2011 Registration Form must be completed in full.
2. Registration is limited to 1500 participants. All entries will be processed in the order they are received.
3. Online registrations will close at 12 noon on Friday 1^st April. Postal registrations close on Tuesday 29^th March 2011. Registrations will not be accepted on the day of the event.
4. The event will take place on Sunday 3^rd April in all weather conditions; there will be no rain dates or cancellations.
5. This is a smoke and alcohol free event.
6. All participants must wear their official lanyards during the event.
7. Participants must comply with the instructions of event wardens at all times.
8. All entrants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult (who must be registered in the event) for the entire duration of the event and the accompanying adult takes full responsibility for the safety of the entrant under 16. 
9. All entrants under the age of 18 must have a guardian approval at registration.
10. Trail age restrictions
    1. Entrants under 10 years are restricted to the Hawkins Trail
    2. Entrants 11 – 15 years have access to both trails with adult supervision
    3. Entrants 16 over will be treated as an adult with access to both trails
11. No refunds will be given on registration fees.

1. I understand that this event is not a race and participation involves walking or running on park and garden trails that can be potentially hazardous. 
2. I certify that I am physically fit, have sufficiently trained for participation in this event and I have not been advised otherwise by a qualified medical person.
3. I consent to receive any medical treatment that may be deemed necessary in the event of injury, accident or illness during the event, and I allow that information to be passed on to the Event Organisers or third parties as necessary.
4. In consideration of the acceptance of my registration, I hereby action for myself, my executors, administrators, heirs, next of kin, successors as follows:

1. I accept complete responsibility for any injury, damage, loss of any description of life or property during the course of, or as a consequence of, or in any way associated with, the Sunrise Walk for Hospice and Hospice South Auckland.
2. I waive any right to take action against any individual, group or organisation involved with or engaged in the promotion or staging of the Sunrise Walk for Hospice and Hospice South Auckland.
