Wish List

• Do you have any of the small paint test pots left over after your DIY projects? We would love them to use in our Day Stay arts and crafts programme.
  
• Colour-coded chopping boards including the brown one for cooked meats.
  
• Briscoes vouchers for ongoing  linen purchases. A donation or vouchers are preferable so we can match them to the specific colours and types of sheeting for the In Patient Unit rooms.
  
• Our In Patient Unit  would like candles and tea lights, Lavender essential oil, baby oil (small bottles), batteries 9 volt & size D and small guest soaps.
• White sugar for the volunteers who make jam for the Hospice TradingTable.

How you can help Hospice - Volunteer Update

If you have a few spare hours during the week or month,please consider helping us at Hospice.The areas we most need help with are:

• Occasional Driver, Mangere Bridge: needed to drive patients to/from hospital appointments and/or Day Stay which is at Totara House.
  
• Hairdresser: to assist patients with haircuts.
  
• Beauty Therapist: needed once a month  to come along and pamper our Day Stay ladies, Mon or Weds.
  
• Otahuhu Shop: Four hour shifts to suit.
