Our kitchen freezers are in need of replacement. Approximate cost is $2000.
King Single Quilts
For patient beds in the In-patient Unit. The quilts would enable us to individualise our patient rooms at Totara Lodge. A special and lasting gift for patients to enjoy.
Cat Food
Donations of food for our Hospice cat Fluffy would be much appreciated. Fluffy particularly enjoys Jimbo’s Cat food, Fancy Feast, Dine and Whiskas pouches and Purina cat biscuits.
Fold up camp beds
Fold up camp beds for patients relatives. We often have family/friends staying with patients overnight. Not all patient
rooms can accommodate an extra full size bed so we use lazy boy chairs or fold up beds for visitors to sleep on. The
sort we need are the ones with springs and foam mattresses. Maybe a donor would like to donate money to purchase same.
Coffee and biscuits
We are lucky to have tea donated by Dilmah. Donations of coffee and biscuits would extend the selection available to our patients.
Otahuhu Hospice Shop
Do you have time to give to your community and enjoy meeting people? As a charity, Hospice South Auckland not only relies on the generosity of the public to support its work, but also on the hard work and important contribution made by volunteers within the organisation. If you have retail experience and have time to spare, our Otahuhu shop needs you.
Painting Set
Drawing and Painting Therapy is one of the most powerful therapeutic tools in the area of Dying, Grief and Loss. We would appreciate the donation of a painting set, paint brushes, paint in different colours, and an easel.
