“I helped to collect last week at Manukau Farmers, what a humbling experience it was! At first, being new to me, I had no idea what to expect. The first half an hour I stood in silence and didn’t get much response. I thought to myself, just approach people with a smile, they wont know unless I ask.. what an overwhelming response that was! People even shared their stories with me of when the Hospice looked after their loved ones. I look forward to continuing serving as a volunteer for Hospice and I’m looking forward to my next challenge!”
