Ayrlies Garden a superb venue for “Fashion and all that Jazz”
On a near-perfect late summer’s day we were delighted to see such a good turn out of Hospice Supporters for the first ever “Fashion and all that Jazz” Garden Party at Ayrlies Garden on March 22nd. It was also good to be able to welcome Hospice New Zealand patron Maggie Barry along for the day.
For those of you who have not seen it Ayrlies Garden is owned by Bev McConnell a long time friend of the Hospice who very generously donated the use of the Garden for this event. The Gardens are rightly rated as among the country’s very best. Ayrlies provided a superb backdrop to three very well received fashion shows and also an ideal place just to relax and explore with a glass of wine in your hand or listen to some great local student musicians.
Along with a number of generous sponsors listed below our thanks go to Annah Stretton, Elizapesi Fashion, Blacksheep Fashion and the support team of models from Catwalk Studios and Sublime. Their range of designs really added a spark to the afternoon.
We are very grateful to Just Jazz who kindly provided the live music during the day in our main venue as well as the students from Howick College who provided musical entertainment in the garden.
