Christmas for Volunteers
at Totara lodge
It was with extreme appreciation and pleasure we invited our volunteers
to the annual Christmas morning tea held at Totara Lodge, December 2008.
The Volunteer Christmas morning tea provides a wonderful opportunity for the team to catch up with colleagues and friends not seen for a while.
As well as being treated to a delicious morning tea prepared by Melanie, one of Hospice South Auckland’s professional cooks, we were extremely fortunate to have musical entertainment courtesy of Rose and Mark.
Not only is Rose a volunteer in the In Patient Unit she is an accomplished vocalist of some repute. We were indeed blessed to have the combined talents of Rose and her accompanist Mark.
Given the combined skills and dedication of our volunteers we endeavour to show our gratitude whenever possible. Volunteers are priceless. Never will our efforts adequately reflect the spirit and support offered freely by so many.
