Next Winemaker's Lunch
Guests already looking Forward to next Winemaker's Lunch
Canapes and 10 courses served Tapas-style, each with different matching fine wines, were enjoyed by 170 people at the inaugural Winemakers Lunch held at Alexandra Park on Sunday 5th October. Kindly organised by Merv Ah Chee, and the team from the Rotary Club of Otahuhu it was a great way to help raise funds. And everyone there rated it as a superb event - with a number of guests already asking when the next one will be held! It was also great to see it so well supported by several sponsors and a number of volunteers who helped with the silent and live auction. M.C. Rob Crabtree was in vintage fine form. Terry Dunleavy MBE, ex CEO of The Wine Institute, provided an interesting and entertaining connoisseur’s insight into the development and growth of the NZ Wine Industry.
