Christmas Remembrance Trees Dec 09
Each year Hospice South Auckland has it’s Christmas Remembrance Trees in various sites around South/South East Auckland throughout December.
This years venues will be as follows: Westfield Pakuranga, Highland Park Countdown, Botany Town Centre, Meadowlands, Westfield Manukau, Papakura Countdown, Hunters Plaza and Kings Plant Barn Botany. A big thank you to those people who have volunteered to man the stands and to our Roster makers and Co-ordinators. The wonderful volunteers who are making up the various rosters still have some gaps to fill, so please if you have 3 hours to spare, we urgently would like to hear from you! We also are requiring 3 people to be Co-ordinators on some of the sites, this involves phoning those on the roster the day before and in some cases visiting the site daily for banking etc. This initiative usually brings in around $35,000 for Hospice per year.
